I took my first glance of sky!
Crystal to ice blue as I took my first gaze through the window.
The window…
Streaked dirty pain crossed by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 bars parallel created to be my
impenetrable portal to the heavens.
I can see the wind!
Slowly summoning and beckoning the marshmallow clouds in an oh-so-slow race across my gaze.
Freedom.
No concrete, numbers, or bars. Just the endless expanse of pasture for the ever billowing buffalo clouds.
Freedom.
One day I’ll be a cloud and I’Il move with obese slowness across someone else’s gaze.
But today…
I took my first glance of sky.
